Life, Animated (Autism Friendly Screening)

As a child Owen Suskind suffered from autism which prevented him from speaking until he discovered a unique way of communicating through the medium of Disney animated films. Able to relate to the characters and using dialogue memorised from repeatedly watching the films, Owen found the tools he needed to understand, communicate and connect with the world around him. This inspirational documentary looks back at Owen’s life from introverted child with autism to successful, socially active adult.
