Long Way North

Set in St Petersburg in 1882, Sasha is a young aristocrat whose grandfather is a world renowned explorer. When he fails to return from his expedition to the North Pole he and the family face dishonour. Determined to save her family’s reputation and to find out what happened to her beloved grandfather, Sasha runs away and heads into the Great North following in his footsteps. Against all the odds and facing extreme conditions she leads a ship and crew through the icy seas on an epic adventure.
