Watch cartoons and test your animation trivia knowledge in our fun filled interactive family show in the Carriageworks Theatre, where families can watch cartoons together and go behind the scenes to discover the secrets of some of their favourite programmes. Featuring guest stars from the world of animation and a sing along contest, help our animators make an animated movie live on stage, or sit back and watch the magic happen.

Tori Davis (aka Tori Cat) is now helping lead the design in top secret, future girls shows at LEGO. She is honoured to be at Animation Central and looks forward to meeting you, where she will be talking cartoons, drawing characters and playing with coloured bricks, so please come and say hi! Paul is responsible for bringing to life family favourites including Noddy, Oakie Doke, Bob the Builder™, Toby’s Travelling Circus, Postman Pat, Twirlywoos) and will talk about his work in children’s animation and his current work CBBC’s Scream Street.

Animator/director Tony Mines is best known for taking Brick filmmaking to dizzying heights, creating animated films for the LEGO company and their respective clients, including SONY, Marvel Entertainment, Lucasfilm and Python Pictures. Tony will be showcasing some of the best brick short films, as well as giving tips on how to make your own films.
