It’s Children’s Cinema Day!

Brand new for 2016, Children’s Cinema Day is a chance for you to join other children, young people and families across the region in a shared viewing experience.

From 1pm on Sunday 27 March, join in and take part in Children’s Cinema Day by watching something you’ve never seen before – a short film, feature film or a documentary – just as long as it’s something you’re watching for the first time.

You can find some ideas of what to see and where to see it on our website or have a look below for some additional inspiration…

– from the cinema to online on your tablet.

If you’re under 18, you should check with your parent or guardian that it’s something appropriate. Once you’ve watched it, why not try taking a selfie and tweeting or Instagramming us a picture of you watching it (you may need some help with this), telling us what you are watching and giving us a 3 word review to @leedsyoungfilm with the hashtag #cinemaday. You’ll be featured on our website and you’ll also be in with a chance of winning a prize for the best picture and the best review.
