LYFF 2017 – Winners Announced!

18th Leeds Young Film Festival has been the festival’s most successful year EVER – thanks to all of you!

We welcomed record breaking audiences to venues across the city, with over 150 films and events taking place over 11 days with Reel Kids at Hyde Park Picture House, The Film House at Leeds Town Hall, Animation Central at The Carriageworks Theatre, VR Zone at Leeds City Museum and much more!

We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year’s festival competitions…

Young Animator of the Year Award

Age 9 and Under category – Emma Kitson for ‘What If’

Ages 10-14 Category – Charlie Walton for ‘Lost Ball’

Each young animator wins £100 courtesy of Northern Film School!
